spirit josh

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Spirit Josh is a Toronto indie-folk and alternative-country band formed in memory of songwriter Matt Jonn Lewis's late brother Josh. Built around Lewis, Sam Szigeti, Alex Nunes and collaborators, the group has developed a self-recorded catalogue that moves between folk, country, slowcore and indie rock, including Paint a Lucky Picture and the 2026 album Road of Life.
