Peaches is the Toronto-born musician, producer and performance artist Merrill Nisker. Her work brings electronic beats, punk attitude and theatrical performance together, using humour and explicit lyrics to challenge expectations around gender, sexuality and the body. She has lived and worked in Berlin since 2000, while her career remains rooted in Canadian music.

The Teaches of Peaches introduced her international audience to that approach in 2000. Her catalogue also includes Fatherfucker, Impeach My Bush, I Feel Cream and Rub. Beyond records, she has developed installations, directed music videos and created the electro-rock opera Peaches Does Herself. Collaborations with artists including Iggy Pop, Kim Gordon and Yoko Ono reflect a practice that crosses music and performance art.

Released through Kill Rock Stars in February 2026, No Lube So Rude extends her exploration of identity and bodily autonomy through electronic, dance, punk and industrial sounds.
