mapouginen

Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Mapouginen is the artistic alias of Montreal multidisciplinary artist and choreographer Cindy Belotte. Her work is rooted in Montreal's Black and diasporic arts communities, and the Mapouginen name also appears among the performers on the large-scale Quebec recording Stand By Me/Lean On Me. Northern Dial carries Mapouginen as part of its Montreal multidisciplinary and vocal arts catalogue.
