Northern Dial Artist Profile

GUS

Toronto, Ontario (born); Los Angeles, California (based), Canada

GUS is a Toronto-born singer-songwriter whose guitar-led indie-pop songs focus on growing up, relationships, friendship and leaving home. After university, he moved to Los Angeles to write and perform, while remaining connected to Toronto. His live work includes tours with Johnny Orlando and LØLØ.

His releases include “Vivian” and the October 2, 2026 single “Boys of Summer,” now playing on Northern Dial. This profile concerns the contemporary Toronto-born solo artist, not the unrelated Vancouver punk band or other performers who have recorded as Gus.
